MX Nationals Update April 2011

Round 2 Appin NSW.  David was disappointed with his results for round 2 with a DNF and DNS due to an injury to his leg in moto1 after qualifying 29th.  Moto 2 was a DNS after moto1.  Moto's 3 & 4 were a slight come back with a 32nd and a 17th place.  Determind to do better in round 3 he rested up for a week with family in NSW and was ready for another battle.  Many thanks to Shane, Jodie & the boys for helping out.  Never been to a MX event but handled it well.  David is much appreciative for your help and letting him stay with you.
Round 3 Raymond Terrace NSW.  Qualifying in the top 20 moto 1 & 2  were better results with a 9th & 21st place.  Moto's 3 & 4 resulted in a 20th & 18th placing.  Racing Australia's best is tough going with the challenge of factory teams and the long travel to eastern states but determination is a tough thing to shake.  Still very keen to keep pushing on to more rounds and it appears each round is getting better.  With many tracks left to tackle it will be a hard battle just to get there but we'll keep trying.  Well done Dave, you've done us proud and travelling all that way with the help of Peter Delpup of DSA Group Australia who supplied a vehicle and fuel funding and Teirney Contracting for a loan of the MX Trailer.  Without your support David would not have been able to attend round 2 & 3.  GBF mining have been a huge help with the Nationals this year with flights for round 1&2 and entry fees.  A huge thanks to all sponsors who support David in his acheivements.
