Bunbury Motorcycle Club never fails to put on a fantastic event. Perfect day, perfect track, bike running in top form but something was a little off. Cant pin it but it's done now and looking on to the next State Round at Noble Falls Gidgeganup on the 28-8-2011. David retains his lead by 60 points. 2 Hard pack tracks coming up for the last 2 state rounds. Round 6 will be held at the Lightweight Motorcycle club Byford on the 18-9-2011. David is currently travelling to NSW Moree to compete in round 8 of the Australian Nationals U19's on the 24-7-11 then the next weekend at Coolum Qld on the 31-7-11.
David is travelling with friend and other WA Pro-lite rider Sean Robertson who currently sits in 3rd position in the WA Championship Pro-lite class. David and Sean have been friends since the age of 10.
A couple of weeks ago David competed in the King of the Coast at Karratha and had quite a battle even before he arrived in the town. An oil leak in dad's ute, blew a tyre, shorted out the wiring in car. Sunday, raced, crashed, lucky escape for him and another rider, broke bottom plate off bike in another crash, had to borrow bike for main event, accused of cutting the track, overall win was 4th place. Oh and hit a roo on the way home.
