King of the Cross 2011

After the long trip across Australia from the last 2 back to back MX Nationals to prepare for this years big event King of the Cross.  We look forward to this event every year as it brings top riders from all over Australia.  Entering the Pro Lite class 250cc, bike running in top form thanks to Chris Back Motorcycle Engineering.  Chris has tuned this bike finely, he never misses anything.  Points were scored for overall class events and the main event, (The King of the Cross) which was double points.  David wins all 3 moto's with top points lead for the day over all the classes which gives him 1st gate pick for the main event.

He is lined up in the shoot next to Marmont, Mackie, Mosig and so on.  What a line up.  Gates drop and the dust clouds and when it clears Dave's running in the top 10 and stays there for the moto.  5 minutes break then back on the line for the 2nd moto, finishes well in 12th place.  Once the points were added up, David wins overall 6th place for the 2011 King of the Cross on his 250cc.  Great effort for the current leader in the WA State title.  Check out the results here on mylaps
You can also check out and compare lap times with the pro lites and pro opens here  David would like to thank Chris and Josh Back, Peter and Luke Delpup for all their help on the day. He would also like to thank FMT Folding Motorcycle Trailers, The Honda Shop, GBF Mining, Bossen Apparel and DSA Group Australia. None of this racing is possible without the support of a great team.
