The Junior years

This pic was taken at Red Hill 2005 Ktm 85 S/W.
David has been riding since the age of 6 and started out on a Honda pee-wee 50. After about a year he rode a Kawasaki 60. He then was keen to ride a KTM65 so his parents bought him a brand new bike and he has'nt looked back since.
Mainly racing in and around the Goldfields most of his life, he improved to win many club and regional championships, including Kid of the Cross at Southern Cross and Prince of the Pig Farm in Norseman. David started entering WA State Titles at the age of 9. David has travelled to America to race in the Florida Winter AM's and also qualified for Lorretta Lynns in 2008. It would not have been possible if not for Warren Strange of Globedrill Australia. He put alot of time and effort not to mention finacial support to make this happen, it was a great learning experience David will remember for a long time. On his return to Australia, David entered the Australian Nationals in the 250cc class, he finished in 11th place. He then upgraded to a senior rider.
David has won 2 WA State Titles, 2007 A grade junior 85cc and again in 2009 winning the Intermediate Lites class. He was then upgraded to Pro for the 2010 season where he took out 2nd
place in the Pro Lites.
He has also had the chance to race in Indonesia
and the FX Nationals in Victoria. In 2011 David
will compete in the WA State Championships
and the Australian MX Nationals.
