WA State Round 2 Coastal Park Update

Last weekend we all saw a battle for 1st place in the Pro Lite class of the 2nd state round at Coastal Park, Henderson.  Although this is David's home track now, it was still a mission ahead with top riders contending and knowing he had a 15 point lead in the Championship, he charged hard and with the holeshot in the first race he set a comfortable lead.  UK national champion Jamie Law was tough competition on the day but David held him off in the first moto.
The 2nd moto was a different story although a good start into 2nd place but stalled the bike on the 3rd lap which put Jamie Law and Tim Bell into the lead spots.  A quick recovery and finished the moto in 3rd postition.

In moto 3, he charged out of the gate for another holeshot and stayed in front for a long 10 lap race to win the day.
This puts David in a 35 point lead to Kalgoorlie rider Sean Robertson and 45 point lead on Craig Bolton.

Paul & Peggy Craine from FMT Folding Motorcycle Trailers, David's sponsor  was there to witness the win.  FMT are sponsoring David with a  trailer for the 2011 season.  The trailer is on display at each round so come and take a look, you'll be impressed.  Very proud sponsors of   Birchmx. All of David's sponsors are a big help to get him to every race meeting. A big thanks go to The Chris Back for working on David's bike, he does a great job, Honda Shop Midland,  GBF Mining, DSA Group Australia Peter Delpup and Bossen Clothing.  All have been a great support this year.
We now prepare for the next race, just in one week, for the Manjimup 15000.  Look out for the number #7 on the Honda Shop bike in the Lites class.
